Situated only ten minutes from Dunsborough, you feel a world away from the hustle and bustle in our relaxed native setting.
Owner and head chef, Duncan Timmons, is passionate about creating simple, interesting and honest dishes, which are reflected in the seasonal menus. He works closely alongside a long list of local producers and suppliers to ensure that every menu item showcases the freshest, best quality and locally sourced ingredients.
Everyone is welcome at Goanna, and together, Duncan and his wife and co-owner Ali, love to nourish their guests on their way to explore the beautiful offerings of the south west on their doorstep.
Little ones can enjoy their own adventure in the children's playground with adjacent cafe seating, and well behaved dogs on lead are also welcome in our outdoor areas.
We love our locals here and have a strong band of regular customers, so bookings are always recommended to avoid disappointment. We cannot wait to welcome you to our little slice of bushland paradise soon.
Acknowledgment of Country
Here at Goanna Bush Café we feel lucky to be nestled amongst the beautiful bush on Wardandi Noongar Boodja (country or land). For tens of thousands of years, the Wardandi (saltwater) people have lived in harmony with this Boodja. She has provided abundant foods and water to them, just as she does for us today. As a business that is situated on Wardandi Noongar Land, we pay our respects to the Elders of this place, both those who’ve walked the land before and those walking it today. We acknowledge that their care of this Boodja and her waterways is a big reason for why we get to enjoy such a pristine location for our café, and for that, we’re grateful.
